Marc Foster

Head of Age Performance

Marc has been coaching and teaching since he finished competitive swimming at the age of 21.

He started coaching at Kingston Upon Hull Swimming Club whilst studying for his Degree in Sports Science. Marc then worked as Head Coach at a swimming club in Grimsby, and then moved to the Royal School in Wolverhampton. During his time as a coach Marc has spent time working under many influential and respected coaches and has gleaned and learnt a large amount of coaching from all of them.

During his coaching career Marc has achieved many great things with the highlight coming in 2015 when he coached a swimmer to the European Youth Olympics for the Dutch team. He has also had international representation in Open Water Swimming and has coached National age group medallist in all of the seven years that he has been part of the Royal school swimming program.

In his time as a coach Marc has been selected for numerous England talent coaching positions and has played a major part in many of the past successes at the Royal Wolverhampton School.

Marc is very much looking forward to working with and enhancing the swimmers at Ellesmere College Titans.
